((Oh my GOD, this is so much fun. I can be completely ridiculous, and it's all good fun! Like, you should see the cheesy pick-up lines I use on girl RP-ers. It's so fun, because it's so stupid. I mean, how often can I suggest showing Samus "a Screw-Attack of my own"? ))
((My actual account is here, Belmont: zombieplasticclock.sheezyart.com))
I have heard legends about you! I thought your clan died out! Its good to know that you are here!
Oh, sorry. Forgot to introduce myself. I'm Albus. I'm the Chief Researcher at Ecclesia. That's the order that was formed to discover ways to kill Dracula after it was believed that the Belmonts had vanished.
Ha! How do you intend to defeat me with all the power I have now?! With the dark powers of the Lich King by my side, your Vampire Killer is nothing more than you tapping me!!
*throws cape around himself, laughs, and teleports away*
So you know of me...then you know of whom I am against.
Ridley? I see. Well you know my name, so I happen to be at a disadvantage. I do not know if it is a pleasure to meet you as well just yet, but out of formalities sake I must say I am glad someone has greeted me.
Trust me. I am no enemy of yours. I am an enemy of one of YOUR enemies. Dracula and one of MY enemies, the Lich King, have become allies. I HATE the Lich King for what he has done...and if Dracula gets in my way...I'll break him down as well...
Well as I believe it is said, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
I hope I can look forward to seeing you around then. But please, tell me what this..."Lich King" has done to make himself such a loathsome enemy, besides the fact that he would be willing to team up with that monster.
He was once known as Arthas Menethil, a prince and a paladin. A warrior of light. In his sick twisted attempt to purge a city of its citizens before they became undead, instead of trying to cure them, he encountered a demon known as Mal'Ganis. This demon lured him into combat and, even though Arthas defeated him, was able to leave him a message, telling him to go to the icy continent of Northrend and claim a frozen blade called Frostmourne, Blade of Souls. He then became fused to special armor that was inhabited by a Lich, named Ner'Zhul. Over time, he became corrupt, and the Lich took over. He killed many, including his former mentor as a Paladin. He raised the soldiers as his undead warriors, called Death Knights. The Death Knights served him for a while, until he tried to lead them into a slaughter on purpose. You see, Frostmourne is called the Blade of Souls for a reason. When it kills a person or its possessor is the causer of death to any person, the blade can absorb the soul, thus giving the sword itself and the wielder more power. He has collected THOUSANDS of souls over his immortal life, and he does not intend to stop, which is why he allied himself with Dracula: if Dracula kills anyone, Arthas gets the soul...and with such a powerful warrior in his army, growing in strength, Dracula's own strength will rise...
But...I believe Arthas is still there inside that frozen corpse of a being. He managed to escape once, through a fight with another being of this place. For a while, I thought he was back...but Ner'Zhul is too strong...Arthas had power to begin with, but with a Lich and thousands of souls of the denizens of this world, he and Dracula will become unstoppable.
I see. This is most troublesome. -looks to the side- But I can not let this get in my way. I shall find a way to do what is right. I only hope that the souls of those who have come before me give me their blessings.
If there is ANY hope of this 'Arthas' getting out...You have my word that I will try and retrieve him. I am not cold blooded.
He had a battle with a and that battle caused all the dark energy to leave him, and he was freed from Ner'Zhul's grip, but another confrontation with her brought Ner'Zhul back into control...The only reason he was freed in that battle was because he tried his all to kill her...and he used up all of his power in one go, but with Dracula helping him, he will be able to better control his power usage...
I suppose then merely putting him up against a stronger opponent would be worthless. -sighs- Of course Dracula would have one such as he in his command. -growls- I will think of something.
Though his begs the question why he was brought back a second time when fighting her.
He did something to enrage her...shattered her mental state, and she flipped out on him. He got angry...and the powers of darkness began to course back into him. At the final moment, Arthas lost control again and went back into the deep reaches of his human mind, "letting" Ner'Zhul take over again.
I see. Then perhaps if someone where to somehow be able to 'touch' him inside of his own mind? -frowns- Or maybe not. I'm not used to dealing with these problems...though it sounds...-looks ashamed- All too familiar...
...Yes. I was. And I was possessed by the same one who stole my dear Annette and her younger sister Maria...
-corners of his mouth quirk upwards in amusement- No. I don't think they would. But-...You're right...conversation or otherwise...
I hope conversation would do it...Fighting with him seems to be asking for a death wish. Although, I can't say that I haven't been asking for one already with my fight against Dracula...
